Seating: 2490, VIP seats: 216) Amadeo Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hidayat Peng in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes AMED got a freekick which was hit by Azam Low. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hidayat Peng in the 8th minute of play forced AMED's goalkeeper Amadeo Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Koh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afiz Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Paine, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Afiq Shyan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Shukrie Ching who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Afiz Teo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, AMED's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Chan came free, but Amadeo Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afiz Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Paine in the 39th minute of the match. If Danial Koh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexander Antonioni lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Alexander Antonioni kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Redbourn AFC booed when AMED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afiq Shyan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
AMED's Amadeo Carrizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Chan in the 52nd minute of play. Amadeo Carrizo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Redbourn AFC's Hidayat Peng. But to his dismay, Hidayat Peng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Afiq Shyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Afiz Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When AMED's Gerard Paine in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Redbourn AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Azam Low hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. AMED made a substitution. Darren Chandran replaced Gerard Paine. AMED's Mohammad Gopala Pillai was substituted for Shukrie Ching. A collision led to AMED getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Isaias Frutos hit a great ball. Victor Chan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Amadeo Carrizo made a huge save. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darren Chandran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronn Hsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AMED's Amadeo Carrizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save AMED from getting a goal against them. When AMED's Darren Chandran in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Redbourn AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 87 minutes, Victor Ching mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redbourn AFC and the AMED players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Redbourn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Ching. 89 minutes into the match, Darren Chandran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afiz Teo. Redbourn AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darren Chandran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Redbourn AFC's zone, Ronn Hsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afiz Teo came out of the goal and Ronn Hsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The AMED support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
