Andrey Denisov might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grigoriy Avrutov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrey Denisov ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrey Denisov in the 14th minute of play forced GONDWONALAND's goalkeeper Grigoriy Avrutov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Курск ФК's Frutos Mallo got control of the ball when Léo Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Léo Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the GONDWONALAND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Pereira couldn't finish the play. Frutos Mallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Pereira in the 20th minute of the match. Курск ФК's Frutos Mallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Boteanu in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, GONDWONALAND's goal looked a bit too open when Andrey Denisov came free, but Grigoriy Avrutov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Semen Afonchenko made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Christian Målare immediately put the ball in play. Valer Boteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Frutos Mallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrey Denisov struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Grigoriy Avrutov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Курск ФК. GONDWONALAND's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Semen Afonchenko in the 37th minute. After 37 played minutes GONDWONALAND got a freekick which was hit by Igor Braginskiy. When Andrey Denisov came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Курск ФК fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrey Denisov couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute of the match, Fidencio Santander got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frutos Mallo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. GONDWONALAND were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Курск ФК's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Semen Afonchenko took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Léo Pereira managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valer Boteanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frutos Mallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Pereira in the 52nd minute of the match. Frutos Mallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Andrey Denisov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Курск ФК's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrey Denisov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigoriy Avrutov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valer Boteanu in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frutos Mallo saved Курск ФК from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Andrey Denisov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grigoriy Avrutov was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Grigoriy Avrutov made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Andrey Denisov sent off a good shot on target. The GONDWONALAND manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Курск ФК to win.
