Pavel Alexandru in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roch Grondzki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 14th minute Cristinel Gheară shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Chindriș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in 7Platonest's zone, Cristinel Gheară stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Chindriș came out of the goal and Cristinel Gheară tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Buciumii's goalkeeper Roch Grondzki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 27 played minutes FC Buciumii got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Gheară. Roch Grondzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavel Alexandru in the 32nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristinel Gheară to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Buciumii's Dominick Van den Bossche got a free kick in the 53rd minute.
