When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Martin Rutsch sped through FC Wil 1900's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lionel Paly. 12 minutes into the match, Uetendorf Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Rosa came free, but David Aberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Aberle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Téo Rosa went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. David Aberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tory Pryor in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Uetendorf Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Tory Pryor came free, but David Aberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Zachary Pionek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lionel Paly was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Uetendorf Wanderers's Martin Rutsch managed to work through FC Wil 1900's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Martin Rutsch dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When FC Wil 1900's Pirmin Jäggi in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uetendorf Wanderers's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Pirmin Jäggi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uetendorf Wanderers's David Aberle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Aberle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tory Pryor, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 34 played minutes Uetendorf Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Alon LeBatelier. In the 40th minute Glenn Huez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lionel Paly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glenn Huez went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Alon LeBatelier hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Lionel Paly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Rutsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Rutsch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lionel Paly was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Martin Rutsch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Rutsch really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. If Özcan Balcik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tory Pryor in the 57th minute of play forced Uetendorf Wanderers's goalkeeper David Aberle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Aberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tory Pryor in the 59th minute of play. David Aberle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tory Pryor, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Glenn Huez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Paly having to interfere. Glenn Huez might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lionel Paly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glenn Huez ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özcan Balcik in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Glenn Huez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lionel Paly was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. David Aberle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pirmin Jäggi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Tory Pryor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Aberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pirmin Jäggi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Tory Pryor got a free kick in the 86th minute. Martin Rutsch struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Lionel Paly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uetendorf Wanderers. 89 minutes into the match, Pirmin Jäggi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Aberle. Uetendorf Wanderers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pirmin Jäggi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-5. The FC Wil 1900 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Uetendorf Wanderers's performance. The match ended with a win for Uetendorf Wanderers.
