In the 6th minute, Americo Suero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigih Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tracto's Gigih Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Mannie in the 14th minute of play. In the 20th minute Baldomero Ilazki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigih Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gartzen Ceceil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Tracto's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Suero came free, but Gigih Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes Tracto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kosmas Banasopoulos who took care of the corner kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigih Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kosmas Banasopoulos in the 31st minute. It was a well-played corner which Celestino Mannie managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Baldomero Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigih Buffon having to interfere. Gigih Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Ilazki, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Gigih Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Americo Suero went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Antonio Alzamendi was substituted for Americo Suero. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gigih Buffon came out of the goal and Peter Blomkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Su in the 89th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tracto fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Tracto's Dionisio Quinito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Peter Blomkvist took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigih Buffon. Gigih Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Peter Blomkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gigih Buffon came out and tried to block the shot, but Peter Blomkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 95th minute. In the 100th play minute Peter Blomkvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gigih Buffon. 1-7. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
