If Erki Lauter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vila's Jaanek Vaher was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 8th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 12th minute, Jaanek Vaher made a precise shot to the right of Holger Kluge. SSV Ulm 1846's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 15th minute, Erki Lauter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Holger Kluge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaanek Vaher, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute Jaanek Vaher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kluge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaanek Vaher succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Ardo Helemäe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Holger Kluge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Yannik Maier fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SSV Ulm 1846's protests and gave Yannik Maier a yellow card for diving instead. Yannik Maier hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Erki Lauter sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Holger Kluge threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Erki Lauter this time. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaanek Vaher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Jaanek Vaher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vila's Sergo Lepp got a free kick in the 94th minute. Balder Heintges, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vila had played much better football throughout.
