In the 4th minute of the match, Walter White tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patrick Gallin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lennart Esbjörnsson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Richard Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Gallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birger Olsman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Asmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Lennart Esbjörnsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Malmö White Knights's Axel Dalberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 19th minute, Eric Ahlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, Brandbergen Bears was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Esbjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 23 minutes, Walter White managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malmö White Knights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter White was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Richard Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herbert Östman kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Patrick Gallin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Olofsson in the 36th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvin Engström to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Richard Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Gallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Malmö White Knights's Peter Åström got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Matthias Forssberg's late challenge caught a Brandbergen Bears's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Despite being the better team, Brandbergen Bears failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
