In the 2nd minute Juan José López shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Angellotti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ballet Azul getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Pau Barasarte hit a great ball. Penuel Football Club's Victorio Detres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Penuel Football Club from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Alvaro came free, but Alonzo Angellotti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ballet Azul's Alonzo Angellotti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan José López in the 14th minute of play. Guido Durand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Victorio Detres made a huge save. After 20 minutes, Xines Ruidiaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penuel Football Club and the Ballet Azul players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Penuel Football Club's Xines Ruidiaz got a free kick in the 20th minute. Danilo Quiroga, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Durand got free with Victorio Detres in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute Guido Durand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Detres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Penuel Football Club's Andrés Escobar got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 31 played minutes Ballet Azul got a freekick which was hit by Lino Varletta. After a defensive mix-up in Penuel Football Club's zone, Kilian Mbappè stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Detres came out of the goal and Kilian Mbappè tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Yu Jing Kun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The wind increased when Nikola Alvaro made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, one of Ballet Azul:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ballet Azul. 60 minutes into the game, Kilian Mbappè cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Victorio Detres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danilo Quiroga struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Victorio Detres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballet Azul. If Pau Barasarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Guido Durand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Detres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Pau Barasarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorio Detres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Durand, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Macnelly Torress short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Alonzo Angellotti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute of the match Penuel Football Club got a corner. Ballet Azul's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Portero ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ballet Azul's goalie and right to Yu Jing Kun. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ballet Azul's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Alonzo Angellotti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan José López in the 83rd minute. When Ballet Azul's Guido Durand in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penuel Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Durand in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorio Detres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alonzo Angellotti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faron Cenal went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
