Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Giorgos Lagos started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Mathys Mora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgos Lagos. In the 8thth minute of the game Dimitris Kapopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Sheriff's Dimitris Kapopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathys Mora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alekos Lazarakis in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathys Mora prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 minutes of play, Sheriff's Giorgos Lagos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathys Mora was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th match minute, Sheriff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takis Miaoulis to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Alekos Lazarakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathys Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Lazarakis in the 20th minute of play. Apostolis Kaliasis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faudel Langlois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camille Roca kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Giannis Basinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Omiros Kaloumenos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mathys Mora, 5-0. 41 minutes into the game, Sakis Panagoulis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mathys Mora. Sakis Panagoulis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laurent Cazes during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

Sheriff made a substitution. Filippos Lazakis replaced Sakis Panagoulis. Sheriff's Anthimos Balopoulos was substituted for Alekos Lazarakis. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raphaël Giacometti to strike the kick off in the second half. Mathys Mora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Lagos in the 53rd minute of the match. Mathys Mora came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheriff's Giorgos Lagos. But to his dismay, Giorgos Lagos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After some careless play in the FC Saubrigues defense, Omiros Kaloumenos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathys Mora. The FC Saubrigues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathys Mora should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Giorgos Lagos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sheriff fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Mathys Mora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omiros Kaloumenos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Basinas in the 65th minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Mathys Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathys Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Kapopoulos in the 71st minute of play. Sheriff made a substitution. Minas Bissias replaced Dimitris Kapopoulos. Mathys Mora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Basinas in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Saubrigues getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Dominique Levi hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Alphonse Keita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 98 minutes of play, Sheriff's Minas Bissias made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathys Mora was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sheriff fully deserved thier win.
