Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vahur Haas in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jo Øverås prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Mieszko Pilsudski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hong Cheng Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Bonet might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hong Cheng Cheng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Bonet ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hong Cheng Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre Malet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Diamantino Ferrão in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Daustad's Mats Bentsen. In the 31st minute, Luis Bonet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Daustad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jo Øverås showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vahur Haas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Daustad getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jean-Luc Dehaene hit a great ball. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vahur Haas in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Vahur Haas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jo Øverås was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Bonet was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Vahur Haas came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahur Haas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hong Cheng Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but Hong Cheng Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Ferrão made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vahur Haas. In the 91st match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Bentsen to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
