The Los Andes Hotspur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinos Garland should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ballet Azul's Pepe Rojas got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ballet Azul's Gino Tonić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efraín Jorge in the 25th minute of play. Vinos Garland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alto Gøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efraín Jorge was the one to do the kick off. Los Andes Hotspur's Vinos Garland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Los Andes Hotspur from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute Korneliusz Miodek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinos Garland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ballet Azul played a much better game than Los Andes Hotspur and deserved their victory. The Los Andes Hotspur players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
