Leicester Lions's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 14thth minute of the game Edu Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Darrel Pennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stu Hislop in the 19th minute of play. Edu Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grant Blacknell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edu Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edu Carvalho got free with Grant Blacknell in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Leicester Lions booed when ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edu Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Grant Blacknell made a huge save. If Edu Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Edu Carvalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Grant Blacknell. That made the score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edu Carvalho got free with Grant Blacknell in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edu Carvalho made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Darrel Pennington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Darling, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Benjamin de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grant Blacknell came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Edu Carvalho. But to his dismay, Edu Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 64 minutes into the match, ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Edu Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grant Blacknell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Sena in the 88th minute of the match. ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
