In the 10th minute of the match Amancio Pancho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerry Chong showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 12 played minutes Oakham got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Ching. When Oakham's Clive Chien-Kwan in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Abasto fútbol club's Ernesto Quexal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clive Chien-Kwan in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benigno Feo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerry Chong was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Abasto fútbol club's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Chien-Kwan came free, but Ernesto Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Feo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clive Tan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ernesto Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56thth minute of the game Danilo Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oakham's Jerry Chong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danilo Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jerry Chong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Benigno Feo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerry Chong. The goal made the score 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Oakham's zone, Abelardo Hitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerry Chong came out of the goal and Abelardo Hitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th match minute, Abasto fútbol club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Hitz to maneuver through the defense. Clive Tan scored 2-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Quexal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Abelardo Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Oakham booed when Abasto fútbol club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Oakham's Rudy Ching broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Oakham had won after a very even match.
