With a little luck, Miradeses FC's Nicolau Ribas got control of the ball when Alfredo Tofani tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Tofani in the 27th minute of play forced Miradeses FC's goalkeeper Nicolau Ribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ettore Festa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Davide Mansueto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miradeses FC the free kick. After 47 played minutes Juventus F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Davide Mansueto. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus F.C.'s zone, Burak Rede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore Festa came out of the goal and Burak Rede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Tofani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute Alfredo Tofani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolau Ribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Juventus F.C.'s Davide Mansueto got a free kick in the 69th minute. Burak Rede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Festa having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Juventus F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Mansueto to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Burak Rede managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miradeses FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burak Rede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Juventus F.C. booed when Miradeses FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Carreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Tofani might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolau Ribas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Tofani ran back to his position shaking his head. The Juventus F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
