Brain Gerfen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Papadopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Kelmond S.C.'s Hub Heida got a free kick in the 8th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Michel Anneese took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Stelios Goumas to make any attempt to save it. 17 minutes into the match, Kelmond S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinos Chiotis came free, but Brain Gerfen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kelmond S.C.'s Brain Gerfen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentinos Soukas in the 19th minute of play. If Konstantinos Chiotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Stelios Goumas got control of the ball when Michel Anneese tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Kelmond S.C.'s Youri de Zaaijer to fire away a dangerous shot which Stelios Goumas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Stratos Lagonikakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's supporters rose to their feet, but Stratos Lagonikakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brain Gerfen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Nikos Papadopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brain Gerfen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Valentinos Soukas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Stratos Lagonikakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stratos Lagonikakis in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brain Gerfen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Michel Anneese scored 2-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stelios Goumas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd match minute, tHe SOnS of rAGnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentinos Soukas to maneuver through the defense. Michel Anneese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelios Goumas having to interfere. When Konstantinos Chiotis came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantinos Chiotis couldn't finish the play. When Klaus Blaauwgeers fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kelmond S.C.'s protests and gave Klaus Blaauwgeers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Kelmond S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Blaauwgeers to maneuver through the defense. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Kelmond S.C. had won, even though tHe SOnS of rAGnar had held more of the ball.
