AC Papaya's Sigvard Edström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Senon Malta in the 8th minute of play. Georg Karlsson scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Guimarães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sigvard Edström made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Luis María Guadalupe sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to AC Papaya getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Oliver Eriksson hit a great ball. Vicente Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. AC Papaya's Sigvard Edström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis María Guadalupe in the 23rd minute of play. If Senon Malta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis María Guadalupe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Georg Karlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, AC Papaya's goalkeeper Sigvard Edström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis María Guadalupe. Dani Boston hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half AC Papaya were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Georg Karlsson was the one to do the kick off. Georg Karlsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Guimarães came out and tried to block the shot, but Georg Karlsson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 51st minute. AC Papaya's Oliver Eriksson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dani Boston, made in the 64th minute of the game. Sigvard Edström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Amor in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, AC Papaya's goal looked a bit too open when Senon Malta came free, but Sigvard Edström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Guaparo FC were awarded a corner. Fabio Collante went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Guaparo FC's Fabio Collante to fire away a dangerous shot which Sigvard Edström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sigvard Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Guaparo FC made a substitution. Ur Higuera replaced Luis María Guadalupe. Guaparo FC's Leandro Sustrai was substituted for Cássio de Alcântara. 78 minutes in the game Sonny Berggren did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Wilson Ribeiro. After taking down the ball on Guaparo FC's corner Leandro Sustrai fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sigvard Edström quite easily take care of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Guaparo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Karlsson came free, but Vicente Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although Guaparo FC had been in control for most of the match, AC Papaya still came away with the win.
