The audience thought a goal was coming when Tonnie Ter got free with Feliks Dec in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper Feliks Dec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elbert Spanjer. 7 minutes into the game, Koos Keupink was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Pelgrims's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grasshoppers Klucze the free kick. Elbert Spanjer came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Feliks Dec could save by the left post. De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Ciborek in the 12th minute of play. Laurens Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Ciborek in the 12th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Koos Keupink cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dirk Talsma was the one to do the kick off. Feliks Dec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk Talsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliks Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonnie Ter in the 52nd minute of the match. Grasshoppers Klucze's Feliks Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Talsma in the 54th minute of play. Feliks Dec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tonnie Ter managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Pelgrims's supporters rose to their feet, but Tonnie Ter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliks Dec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the game, Kurt Ginneken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Feliks Dec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The De Pelgrims fans cheered their team off the field, for while Grasshoppers Klucze had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
