In the 8th minute of the match, Baba Moco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Phil Porter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Phil Porter threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baba Moco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Phil Porter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baba Moco in the 10th minute of the match. A hard shot 18 in the game by Charlie Vandamme from a close distance when the talented Phil Porter managed to make a qualified save. Goo Goo Dolls's players were relieved. Phil Porter made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Baba Moco sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charlie Vandamme in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phil Porter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charlie Vandamme got free with Phil Porter in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charlie Vandamme succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 32nd playminute. With a little luck, Goo Goo Dolls's Phil Porter got control of the ball when Charlie Vandamme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Phil Porter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baba Moco in the 44th minute of play. Vladimir Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Dragnea in the 45th minute of play. Vladimir Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Anson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Olimpiu Dragnea made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Goo Goo Dolls's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Vandamme came free, but Phil Porter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Goo Goo Dolls's Phil Porter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Vandamme in the 53rd minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Flavinho Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phil Porter. Goo Goo Dolls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavinho Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Kenny Anson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Vladimir Prestes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Phil Porter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baba Moco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Porter having to interfere. The supporters of UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C booed when Goo Goo Dolls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matteo Gillis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Kenny Anson could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Vladimir Prestes however easily saved by the left post. Vladimir Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Lane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's goalkeeper Vladimir Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenny Anson. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Goo Goo Dolls had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
