George Kristiansson made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Per Tunström sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Fagerberg in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Kristiansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens Åkerman during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Di Röe getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jens Åkerman hit a great ball. Per Tunström might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Kristiansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per Tunström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13thth minute of the game Henry Fagerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Di Röe's George Kristiansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Henry Fagerberg sped through Di Röe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of George Kristiansson. Henry Fagerberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised George Kristiansson 20 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Melberg in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Gunnarsson saved Rönnöfors FF from getting behind. With a little luck, Di Röe's George Kristiansson got control of the ball when Per Tunström tried to sneak it across the goal line. George Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Stenberg in the 41st minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Rönnöfors FF's Sigvard Biörnberg was substituted for Pieter Koole. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sten Melberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Morgan Björkdahl made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Di Röe's Sven-Arne Olsson. Magne Gunnarsson was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Sten Melberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sten Melberg really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Stenberg in the 73rd minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rönnöfors FF's Henry Fagerberg in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Di Röe's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th match minute, Di Röe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Åkerberg to maneuver through the defense. Rönnöfors FF's Bertil Hellgren was substituted for Ulrik Sandwall. In the 75th minute, Urban Åkerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Tunström in the 76th minute of play. Di Röe's Sten Melberg got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Di Röe's George Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Tunström in the 80th minute of play. George Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Tunström, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Åman in the 86th minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Di Röe's Sten Melberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Per Stenberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Kristiansson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
