SILMONT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Bordat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th match minute, La Acade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Lizardi to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Marcel Lemahieu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Breogan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ricardo Ferrer's late challenge caught a SILMONT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Javier Bordat came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the SILMONT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Bordat couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Osoro during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evaristo Osoro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Javier Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot. SILMONT's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Bordat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Breogan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Gaitan was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Jean-Marie Goupy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SILMONT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Marie Goupy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Breogan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Marie Goupy in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Bordat came free, but Ismael Breogan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Breogan came out of the goal and Jules Gangloff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jean-Marie Goupy fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SILMONT's protests and gave Jean-Marie Goupy a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes SILMONT got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Marie Goupy. The audience was convinced that Javier Bordat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Breogan was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. SILMONT's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
