The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Крылья Советов's Yuriy Andronikov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agustín Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agustín Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Kornecki in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Kornecki. With a little luck, Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi got control of the ball when Petre Blajovici tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Kornecki in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petre Blajovici got free with Agustín Rossi in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Крылья Советов's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irakliy Belov in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Крылья Советов's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Irakliy Belov was slow to take the kick. During this time Frontera AFC's players had a chance to rest. Lucas Iraido was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Su, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute of the match Frontera AFC got a corner. Крылья Советов's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Irakliy Belov ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when Крылья Советов was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Devrim Felek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Su received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Silvestre Cisco sped through Крылья Советов's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Germano. Agustín Rossi was a little too slow when Damian Kornecki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-1. 48 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Kornecki came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvestre Cisco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuriy Andronikov in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Petre Blajovici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Крылья Советов's Petre Blajovici got a free kick in the 59th minute. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Cisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Irakliy Belov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nacho Kirkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Agustín Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Blajovici in the 83rd minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvestre Cisco in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Germano saved Крылья Советов from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Kornecki in the 86th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Крылья Советов's goal looked a bit too open when Irakliy Belov came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes Frontera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Cisco. After 93 minutes, Nacho Kirkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Крылья Советов and the Frontera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benigno Su could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save.
