Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Blaauwgeers in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kylian Charreton came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Kylian Charreton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Battle Muller kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mo Salah, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Battle Muller in the 20th minute of play forced Rodborough's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Battle Muller sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kylian Charreton came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. László Kulcsár hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Rodborough defense, Mo Salah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. The Rodborough fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Orlando Gatti should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Battle Muller got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kylian Charreton in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray Clemence saved Manly FC from getting behind. Rodborough's Buck Smalley was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ray Clemence in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Manly FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alexander Arnold hit a great ball. Ray Clemence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kylian Charreton, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Duke Carnduff got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kylian Charreton was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Kylian Charreton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Rodborough's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Salah came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Byron Shipman made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kylian Charreton. 58 minutes into the match, Kylian Charreton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ray Clemence, 1-1. In the 60th minute, Al Pavkovic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Lucas-James Joshua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kylian Charreton in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray Clemence saved Manly FC from getting behind. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Manly FC's Mo Salah. But to his dismay, Mo Salah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Manly FC made a substitution. John Aldridge replaced Mo Salah. Primitivo Piarres made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kåre Brolin however managed to control. Manly FC's Ray Clemence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Blaauwgeers in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that John Aldridge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Orlando Gatti was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas-James Joshua in the 84th minute of play. Manly FC's Clifford Hamilton managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kåre Brolin in the 87 minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, John Aldridge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. Rodborough's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Aldridge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Ray Clemence successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 92 minutes of play, Rodborough's Kylian Charreton made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ray Clemence was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Manly FC booed when Rodborough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Rainea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Manly FC's John Aldridge. But to his dismay, John Aldridge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2.
