Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Commons in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Rodborough's goal looked a bit too open when Denny Commons came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kylian Charreton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Su Xing Jie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. Rodborough's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Su Xing Jie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Abbotsford FC booed when Rodborough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Al Pavkovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Yakut Vecihi made the kick off in the second half.
