In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rodborough's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute Pasha Datsiuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Gaspar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas-James Joshua's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Caniggia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodborough's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Caniggia in the 19th minute of play. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pasha Datsiuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 38th minute Corey Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rodborough's Al Pavkovic got a free kick in the 40th minute. Edvaldo Gaspar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Frenchville Sports Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
