Filomeno Jerico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrance Sobczak in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Phil Kreck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes PEPE United got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Miels. Coventry City FC's Jess Fessey got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lawrance Sobczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alford Yard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 minutes, Lawrance Sobczak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coventry City FC and the PEPE United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Coventry City FC got a freekick which was hit by Lawrance Sobczak. After a rather tough play, PEPE United's Phillip Dorrell got a free kick in the 34th minute. Rufus Pound could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Filomeno Jerico made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alford Yard made a kick off. PEPE United's Alford Yard got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Coventry City FC's Jeffers Loch was substituted for Lawrance Sobczak. Alford Yard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Patrick Miels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jess Fessey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filomeno Jerico. PEPE United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute, Alford Yard made a precise shot to the right of Tom Arkinstall. Coventry City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in PEPE United's zone, Stewart Greenbank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Jerico came out of the goal and Stewart Greenbank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Broderick Dowling hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Alford Yard in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tom Arkinstall, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Phillip Dorrell hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Filomeno Jerico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stewart Greenbank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Quincy Dobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Coventry City FC's Jeffers Loch in 95 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Filomeno Jerico guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. PEPE United's Filomeno Jerico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stewart Greenbank in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PEPE United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
