The referee ignored Rubiton F.C's protests and gave Biggs Pegrum a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rubiton F.C's Biggs Pegrum got a free kick in the 8th minute. Marshal Isaac kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grant Bundy got free with Ryan Limmer in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ryan Limmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernie Butterfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Grant Bundy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Limmer having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Brett Venz made a precise shot to the right of Albert Simpson. Burrowye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Albert Simpson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett Venz in the 34th minute of the match. If Brett Venz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Jacob Roach charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacob Roach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Rubiton F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Roach. Bernie Butterfield's late challenge caught a Rubiton F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernie Butterfield helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Bernie Butterfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Jonty Schulze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Burrowye's Marshal Isaac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ryan Limmer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ryan Limmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clark Yard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Clark Yard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Limmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryanne Hopkins's late challenge caught a Rubiton F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Simpson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rubiton F.C. 81 minutes into the match, Rubiton F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Grant Bundy came free, but Ryan Limmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rubiton F.C getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Brandes Mcquoid hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Yard in the 93rd minute of play forced Rubiton F.C's goalkeeper Ryan Limmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
