The supporters of AMED booed when Oakham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wong Butcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored AMED's protests and gave Clive Chandran a yellow card for diving instead. Clive Chandran hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Asiz Rajah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeo Carrizo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Carrizo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Oakham fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Oakham's Asiz Rajah looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 29 minutes, Asiz Rajah made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. AMED's Amadeo Carrizo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bryan Hui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shukrie Ching in the 33rd minute of the match. Amadeo Carrizo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Asiz Rajah sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute Shukrie Ching shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Hui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Azam Pieng during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asiz Rajah to make the kick off. Amadeo Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Koh, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 53rd match minute, AMED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Kazanowski to maneuver through the defense. AMED's Amadeo Carrizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Rajah in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Wong Butcher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Amadeo Carrizo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amadeo Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khai Amin in the 70th minute of the match. Clive Chandran was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 72nd match minute, AMED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clive Chandran to maneuver through the defense. AMED's Asiz Chian was substituted for Afiq Shyan. In the 73rd match minute, AMED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clive Chandran to maneuver through the defense. Merlin Braddell replaced Azam Pieng. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asiz Rajah in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Carrizo saved AMED from getting behind. Hidayat Leng hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Oakham's Asiz Rajah in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AMED's goalie prevented a goal. In the 87th minute Oakham were awarded a corner. Asiz Rajah went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Oakham's corner Victor Chong fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amadeo Carrizo quite easily take care of the ball. Khai Amin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Carrizo having to interfere. Amadeo Carrizo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wong Butcher went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the AMED players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oakham.
