Sajeev Au fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Ning having to interfere. With a little luck, Woodmancote United's Shah Braddell got control of the ball when Ryan Seng tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Soon came free, but Afiz Ning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afiz Ning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sajeev Au in the 18th minute of play. Shah Braddell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afiz Phua in the 37th minute of play. Shah Braddell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gara Siang in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Seng in the 45th minute of play forced Woodmancote United's goalkeeper Shah Braddell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afiz Ning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mujahid Sim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Manchester United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Woodmancote United were winning 0-1.

In the 52nd minute Ryan Seng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shah Braddell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mujahid Sim charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mujahid Sim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Mujahid Sim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Manchester United's Afiz Phua in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Didi Soon got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute, Gara Siang made a precise shot to the right of Shah Braddell. Woodmancote United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 74 minutes into the match, Woodmancote United's goal looked a bit too open when Afiz Phua came free, but Shah Braddell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afiz Phua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Shah Braddell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Woodmancote United made a substitution. Daniel Siang replaced Mujahid Sim. Woodmancote United's Bryan Lim was substituted for Jonathan Soon. Afiz Phua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Azly Devan hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Woodmancote United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
