Ronn Hsi's late challenge caught a NFH Family United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeo Carrizo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mark Chian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Carrizo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, NFH Family United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wong Sophie to maneuver through the defense. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
