Karim Ghazi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afiz Phua took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karim Ghazi. Karim Ghazi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 14thth minute of the game Afiz Phua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saltaire's Karim Ghazi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryan Seng in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karim Ghazi saved Saltaire from getting behind. 龚明宁's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afiz Ning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Didi Soon kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gara Siang scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karim Ghazi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st match minute, Saltaire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anil Tee to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Amir Chandran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karim Ghazi skillfully saved the ball. Karim Ghazi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Karim Ghazi came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester United's Gara Siang. But to his dismay, Gara Siang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryan Seng made a kick off. Karim Ghazi made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Gara Siang sent off a good shot on target. Karim Ghazi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afiz Phua showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 54 minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Gara Siang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karim Ghazi. Gara Siang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. 64 minutes into the match, Saltaire's goalkeeper Karim Ghazi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryan Seng. 67 minutes into the game, Afiz Phua lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Karim Ghazi. After 70 played minutes Saltaire got a freekick which was hit by 龚明宁. Karim Ghazi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ryan Seng in the 71st minute.
