In the last second Afiz Teo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Asiz Rajah in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 30th minute Asiz Rajah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afiz Teo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Koh in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Asiz Rajah was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Mark Koh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Afiz Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gara Chian in the 54th minute of the match. Afiz Teo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Asiz Rajah's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asiz Rajah in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afiz Teo saved Redbourn AFC from getting behind. Afiz Teo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oakham made a substitution. Gara Hock replaced Mark Koh. In the 81stth minute of the game Asiz Rajah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Asiz Rajah kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Oakham's Bineesh Soon got a free kick in the 91st minute. Zafran Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gara Hock might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afiz Teo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gara Hock ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Redbourn AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oakham.
