Hashem Ashkanani started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, SALT's Gibrel Taqi got a free kick in the 6th minute. 13 minutes into the match, SALT's goal looked a bit too open when Basem Shadad came free, but Adnan Al Motar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SALT getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ghaith Bahbhani hit a great ball. The supporters of Fuyaira SC booed when SALT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farooq Al Muwail didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adnan Al Motar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adem Boften in the 20th minute of the match. Fuyaira SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adem Boften in the 24th minute. The corner ended in Adem Boften almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SALT's Adnan Al Motar did a great save. Adnan Al Motar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hashem Ashkanani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes SALT got a freekick which was hit by Gibrel Taqi. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Maitham Al Rodhan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adnan Al Motar to make any attempt to save it. Aesem Khaja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hani Al Hashash in the 37th minute of play. Fuyaira SC's Aesem Khaja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salah Al Homaithe in the 38th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hani Al Hashash stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Adem Boften sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adnan Al Motar skillfully saved the ball. 56 minutes into the match, SALT's goal looked a bit too open when Maitham Al Rodhan came free, but Adnan Al Motar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hani Al Hashash fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aesem Khaja having to interfere. Hashem Ashkanani scored 3-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adnan Al Motar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Fuyaira SC's Aesem Khaja got control of the ball when Salah Al Homaithe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Yaqoub Khaja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fuyaira SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. With 83 minutes on the clock, Farooq Al Muwail commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SALT! 87 minutes into the match, Hashem Ashkanani notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of SALT's Adnan Al Motar. Adnan Al Motar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adnan Al Motar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maitham Al Rodhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Hashem Ashkanani collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 93 minutes, Hani Al Hashash mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SALT and the Fuyaira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SALT's Hani Al Hashash got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 95 minutes of play, Fuyaira SC's Doaej Al Harban made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adnan Al Motar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fuyaira SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
