SALT's Adnan Al Motar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamzah Khorshed in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, SALT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yousef Al Attar to maneuver through the defense. After 12 minutes, Farooq Al Abdullah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alwahda FC and the SALT players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yousef Al Attar charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yousef Al Attar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 18 minutes into the match, SALT's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammad Al Srae came free, but Adnan Al Motar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patryk Owsiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salah Al Homaithe, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Alwahda FC's Patryk Owsiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salah Al Homaithe in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mazen Al Mahmed got free with Adnan Al Motar in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SALT's Farooq Al Muwail got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mazen Al Mahmed during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Alwahda FC got a freekick which was hit by Mazen Al Mahmed. SALT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Meqdad Taiban scored to the left of an out of position Adnan Al Motar, making the score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamzah Khorshed made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Shehab Al Qattan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alwahda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SALT the free kick. Shehab Al Qattan hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the game, Rajab Al Enzi landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Shehab Al Qattan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. In the 61st minute, Shehab Al Qattan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patryk Owsiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salah Al Homaithe in the 63rd minute of play. Hamzah Khorshed took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adnan Al Motar. Adnan Al Motar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Hamzah Khorshed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adnan Al Motar having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, SALT's Gibrel Taqi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patryk Owsiak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 87 played minutes SALT got a freekick which was hit by Hussain Shadad. Faisal Taqi struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Adnan Al Motar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alwahda FC. Adnan Al Motar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamzah Khorshed's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Alwahda FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SALT for a fine match.
