Max Colvin ran back to his position shaking his head. Max Colvin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dmitriy Chkalov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Феникс Санкт-Петербург's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arkadiy Amfiteatrov was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Rossoch's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to FC Rossoch getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dmitriy Chkalov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiy Amfiteatrov in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Феникс Санкт-Петербург getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Timur Chichko hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Ahmad Al Tayyib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Polikarp Dovlatov hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Феникс Санкт-Петербург's zone, Arkadiy Amfiteatrov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dmitriy Chkalov came out of the goal and Arkadiy Amfiteatrov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Polikarp Dovlatov advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 38th minute. When Valentin Levtsov fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Rossoch's protests and gave Valentin Levtsov a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Rossoch's Valentin Levtsov got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Aleksey Braga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dmitriy Chkalov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute Феникс Санкт-Петербург were awarded a corner. Aleksey Braga went to the cornerflag to take it. Max Colvin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Dmitriy Chkalov made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Yaroslav Kripak managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Rossoch's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaroslav Kripak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dmitriy Chkalov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute Феникс Санкт-Петербург were awarded a corner. Aleksey Braga went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Aleksey Braga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Higinio Caradaro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 71 minutes into the match, FC Rossoch's Max Colvin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dmitriy Chkalov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute of the match FC Rossoch got a corner. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arkadiy Amfiteatrov ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Polikarp Dovlatov drilling the ball in to score 0-4 behind Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goalkeeper. 75 minutes into the match, Max Colvin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dmitriy Chkalov. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Max Colvin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 80th minute Arkadiy Amfiteatrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmitriy Chkalov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Timur Chichko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's supporters rose to their feet, but Timur Chichko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. FC Rossoch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Colvin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Max Colvin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dmitriy Chkalov was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. FC Rossoch played a much better game than Феникс Санкт-Петербург and deserved their victory. The Феникс Санкт-Петербург players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
