Atabek Makbul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vergil Van Dijk made in the 17th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leszek Kornasiewicz. In the 18th minute Seyfettin Onursoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Göksel Yalman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞK's Abel Pitin got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the BEŞİKTAŞK defense, Leszek Kornasiewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arda Göksel Yalman. The BEŞİKTAŞK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arda Göksel Yalman should have stopped the shot. AYAZAĞA FK's Lennart Kempeneers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berke Gümüşsoy in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berke Gümüşsoy got free with Lennart Kempeneers in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BEŞİKTAŞK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harun Elçin in the 28th minute. The corner led BEŞİKTAŞK's Harun Elçin to fire away a dangerous shot which Lennart Kempeneers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Berke Gümüşsoy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lennart Kempeneers. Berke Gümüşsoy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Lennart Kempeneers was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Berke Gümüşsoy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lennart Kempeneers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berke Gümüşsoy went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Berke Gümüşsoy made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, BEŞİKTAŞK's Berke Gümüşsoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lennart Kempeneers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Samy Froidefond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞK's Berke Gümüşsoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lennart Kempeneers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Seyfettin Onursoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEŞİKTAŞK's Arda Göksel Yalman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th match minute, AYAZAĞA FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vergil Van Dijk to maneuver through the defense.
