Edmund Dulemba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Çağrı Coşan in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Pirates of Black Sea's Mehmet Çağrı Coşan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmund Dulemba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Pirates of Black Sea's Ivar Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfino Santirso in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Günther Doty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirates of Black Sea's Ivar Bjurström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Erhan Sarıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Türk Polis Gücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Erhan Sarıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Bjurström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Türk Polis Gücü's zone, Mehmet Çağrı Coşan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Dulemba came out of the goal and Mehmet Çağrı Coşan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Mehmet Çağrı Coşan took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Edmund Dulemba to make any attempt to save it. Türk Polis Gücü's Zaid Cevahir was substituted for Günther Doty. Türk Polis Gücü's Poyraz Özkoc was substituted for Erhan Sarıoğlu. Türk Polis Gücü's Okan Buruk was substituted for Zaquiel Puredo. Edmund Dulemba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Çağrı Coşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Dale Dolar came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Pirates of Black Sea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dale Dolar couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Zaid Cevahir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Pirates of Black Sea's Ivar Bjurström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle.
