In the 11th minute Karol Panasewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alperen Bozkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Junior Messi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Sharma having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's Karol Panasewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alperen Bozkurt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alperen Bozkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Panasewicz in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Junior Messi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Büyükada Commandos and the Blue Mountain State players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Büyükada Commandos got a freekick which was hit by Junior Messi. 32 minutes into the game, Hayati Peker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Büyükada Commandos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blue Mountain State the free kick. But to his dismay, Karol Panasewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alperen Bozkurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Panasewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute Blue Mountain State were awarded a corner. Afşar Uçuk went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 46th minute, Hílton Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Hayati Peker was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. The corner ended in Afşar Uçuk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Büyükada Commandos's Alperen Bozkurt did a great save. Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi was substituted for Karol Panasewicz. 86 minutes into the game, Lionel-Andrés Messi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Alperen Bozkurt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 92nd minute of play forced Büyükada Commandos's goalkeeper Alperen Bozkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blue Mountain State played a much better game than Büyükada Commandos and deserved their victory. The Büyükada Commandos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
