In the 22nd minute Baykan Sönmez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taha Bakırcı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baykan Sönmez might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Taha Bakırcı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baykan Sönmez ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Önder SK's goal looked a bit too open when Baykan Sönmez came free, but Taha Bakırcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taha Bakırcı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korkut Kırgız in the 57th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Önder SK's Elon-Reeve Muška threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabio Alfieri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the last second Elon-Reeve Muška throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fabio Alfieri in the 60thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. FENERBAHÇE's Cankut Sezer was substituted for Tekin Doğanlar. 63 minutes into the game, Greger Andberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Önder SK's Burhan İsiman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Taha Bakırcı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waga Netto's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Taha Bakırcı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korkut Kırgız in the 92nd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Önder SK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
