After a rather tough play, FC NATIONAL's Lakis Kolovos got a free kick in the 20th minute. Remi Van Linthoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Elvis Ducke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epeios Solomos in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Filipowski got free with Sakis Kaladosis in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sakis Kaladosis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateusz Filipowski's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute FC NATIONAL were awarded a corner. Radomil Kapera went to the cornerflag to take it. FC NATIONAL's Radomil Kapera was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sakis Kaladosis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sakis Kaladosis made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Mateusz Filipowski sent off a good shot on target. Reynardo Lloredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvis Ducke having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Remi Van Linthoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvis Ducke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynardo Lloredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mateusz Filipowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, FC NATIONAL's goal looked a bit too open when Remi Van Linthoud came free, but Elvis Ducke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gică Miclescu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Aek athens's goal looked a bit too open when Mateusz Filipowski came free, but Sakis Kaladosis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aek athens's Ilmo Jussilainen got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aek athens's Aglauros Passas was substituted for Dimos Dimitriou. 69 minutes into the match, FC NATIONAL's goalkeeper Elvis Ducke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynardo Lloredo. When Radomil Kapera fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC NATIONAL's protests and gave Radomil Kapera a yellow card for diving instead. Radomil Kapera kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC NATIONAL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 75th match minute, Aek athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aglauros Passas to maneuver through the defense. Remi Van Linthoud who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Elvis Ducke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elvis Ducke was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Iphiklos Bentihavas. After 82 minutes, Lakis Kolovos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC NATIONAL and the Aek athens players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute Epeios Solomos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvis Ducke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aek athens eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
