In the 4th match minute, FC NATIONAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Popescu to maneuver through the defense. APOELHELLAS's Michel Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lykaon Belesis came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the APOELHELLAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lykaon Belesis couldn't finish the play. Michel Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the FC NATIONAL defense, Michel Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvis Ducke. The FC NATIONAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvis Ducke should have stopped the shot. Elvis Ducke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lykaon Belesis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Octavian Popescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Tobias Øverland made a huge save. With a little luck, APOELHELLAS's Tobias Øverland got control of the ball when Mateusz Filipowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobias Øverland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateusz Filipowski in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Lykaon Belesis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th match minute, FC NATIONAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateusz Filipowski to maneuver through the defense. After the first half APOELHELLAS were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to FC NATIONAL getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Kyszkos Beldekas hit a great ball. Elvis Ducke was a little too slow when Lykaon Belesis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC NATIONAL's goalkeeper Elvis Ducke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC NATIONAL's Marios Siannas got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Octavian Popescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aglauros Sakellariou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elvis Ducke came out and tried to block the shot, but Aglauros Sakellariou slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 65th minute. Radomil Kapera took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Øverland. Tobias Øverland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Tobias Øverland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Filipowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aglauros Sakellariou got free with Elvis Ducke in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Aglauros Sakellariou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The APOELHELLAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Elvis Ducke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aglauros Sakellariou in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateusz Filipowski in the 75th minute of play forced APOELHELLAS's goalkeeper Tobias Øverland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, 刘战弘 made a precise shot to the right of Elvis Ducke. FC NATIONAL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. After a defensive mix-up in APOELHELLAS's zone, Radomil Kapera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Øverland came out of the goal and Radomil Kapera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. APOELHELLAS's Tobias Øverland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Popescu in the 86th minute of play. Elvis Ducke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 刘战弘 in the 87th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as APOELHELLAS's Aglauros Sakellariou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elvis Ducke. That made the score 2-8 after 88 minutes of play. The supporters of APOELHELLAS booed when FC NATIONAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyszkos Beldekas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvis Ducke made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Aglauros Sakellariou sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Aglauros Sakellariou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elvis Ducke. That made the score 2-9 in the 92 minute of play. The APOELHELLAS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
