Gerson Cruzado's late challenge caught a OMONOIA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Seilenos Chrysanthopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the OMONOIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seilenos Chrysanthopoulos couldn't finish the play. Koios Panayiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Harriet in the 20th minute of play. Koios Panayiotopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Cruzado, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, OMONOIA's Eduardo Zanette got a free kick in the 27th minute. Uriel Malvin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivón Echavarri in the 30th minute. Koios Panayiotopoulos came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet. But to his dismay, Ladislao Harriet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 42 minutes, Robert Babicki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OMONOIA and the Empire of Soccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, OMONOIA's Robert Babicki got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Koios Panayiotopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half Empire of Soccer were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivón Echavarri to strike the kick off in the second half. Ladislao Harriet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Koios Panayiotopoulos made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, OMONOIA's goalkeeper Koios Panayiotopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Harriet. A collision led to OMONOIA getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Robert Babicki hit a great ball. OMONOIA made a substitution. Nikos Koulouris replaced Robert Babicki. Empire of Soccer's Xanthos Fikias was substituted for Natalio Blanco. Empire of Soccer made a substitution. Hektor Tsiaris replaced Timmy Sandberg. In the 69th match minute, OMONOIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Babicki to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Vergas came free, but Uriel Malvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uriel Malvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seilenos Chrysanthopoulos in the 87th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Empire of Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Hektor Tsiaris. 邵城沙 took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Malvin. Uriel Malvin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Empire of Soccer had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
