An unexpectedly hard shot by Seilenos Chrysanthopoulos in the 44th minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Uriel Malvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Vergas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Ladislao Harriet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koios Panayiotopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-2 when 邵城沙 sped through Empire of Soccer's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uriel Malvin. Empire of Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Harriet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Koios Panayiotopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Empire of Soccer supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching OMONOIA's performance. The match ended with a win for OMONOIA.
