The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coronel Fuster couldn't finish the play. After having played for 24 minutes, Michelangelo Merganiotis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Ajax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michelangelo Merganiotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michelangelo Merganiotis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jason Statham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Vinícius Junior cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Saruhan Vuralhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michelangelo Merganiotis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jason Statham made a huge save. After the first half GREEN PANTHERS FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinícius Junior stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
