An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelios Tavoularis in the 28th minute of play forced O.T.E's goalkeeper Javier García to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. O.T.E's Iason Papadimoulis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Baudelio Carter, made in the 33rd minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cuero Buseth to make the kick off. Ali Ömer Ongu struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Veniamin Michailidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for O.T.E. Kipouroi FC's Veniamin Michailidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cuero Buseth in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute Ali Ömer Ongu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veniamin Michailidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, O.T.E's Aybars Çokman made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Veniamin Michailidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! O.T.E's Dimitris Saravakos was substituted for Charalambos Rokofilos. O.T.E's Akis Lazariadis was substituted for Soner Ortaçgil. Nikos Labakis kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Javier García made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Nikoloulis in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th minute Marios Nikoloulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier García saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Ömer Ongu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veniamin Michailidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Veniamin Michailidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cuero Buseth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cuero Buseth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier García was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benito Bento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kipouroi FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ali Ömer Ongu was slow to take the kick. During this time O.T.E's players had a chance to rest. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kipouroi FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
