After 12 minutes, Mihai Cernei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charlotte Hornets Sport and the Ajax Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Charlotte Hornets Sport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Cernei to maneuver through the defense. Dragos Enicov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Musteatã in the 19th minute of play. Dragos Enicov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dumitru Musteatã's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Eusebio Jurdan made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ruslan Plesca sent off a good shot on target. Eusebio Jurdan was a little too slow when Gong Yan Bin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Antonio Cacciatore dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eusebio Jurdan, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ajax Academy's Gong Yan Bin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eusebio Jurdan. That made the score 4-0 after 28 minutes of play. Charlotte Hornets Sport's Eusebio Jurdan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Charlotte Hornets Sport from getting a goal against them. Eusebio Jurdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Pârlea in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Charlotte Hornets Sport's Mihail Epureanu got a free kick in the 37th minute. Eusebio Jurdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Pârlea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Pârlea in the 40th minute of play forced Charlotte Hornets Sport's goalkeeper Eusebio Jurdan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumitru Musteatã might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dragos Enicov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dumitru Musteatã ran back to his position shaking his head. Eusebio Jurdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Yan Bin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charlotte Hornets Sport's attentive Nicolae Croitoru managed to snatch the ball when Iosif Ciubuc made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ajax Academy had played much better football throughout.
