With an all-out effort, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Frank Frankfurter threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Petruț Mircescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 11 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Matt De Ligt fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. FC MeHigh's Frank Frankfurter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt De Ligt in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petruț Mircescu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Frankfurter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Frankfurter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Gallo in the 17th minute of play. Frank Frankfurter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matt De Ligt in the 24th minute of the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Petruț Mircescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MeHigh's Frank Frankfurter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute Pinner Cluj-Napoca were awarded a corner. Cristian Gallo went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Petruț Mircescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Frankfurter was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Nurettin got free with Frank Frankfurter in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petruț Mircescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Franco Vázquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Frank Frankfurter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Petruț Mircescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Frankfurter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Petruț Mircescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Frankfurter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Blade Runnel hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. FC MeHigh's Isac Ţiriac was substituted for Ahmet Hasan Keyfer. Blade Runnel kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Petruț Mircescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Frankfurter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pinner Cluj-Napoca were victorious despite being under pressure from FC MeHigh for much of the match.
