Spectators: 10878 (Terracing: 8159, Seating: 2502, VIP seats: 217) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Johnathan Bowden took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fc Lothlorien's Remus Pinches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Gheară in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Fc Lothlorien got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Dărăscu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Gheară in the 9th minute of play forced Fc Lothlorien's goalkeeper Remus Pinches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Buciumii's zone, Arthur Clarke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roch Grondzki came out of the goal and Arthur Clarke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristinel Gheară blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remus Pinches having to make a save. Remus Pinches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Gheară, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a little luck, FC Buciumii's Roch Grondzki got control of the ball when Johnathan Bowden tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, FC Buciumii's Cristinel Gheară made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remus Pinches was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johnathan Bowden received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roch Grondzki came out and tried to block the shot, but Johnathan Bowden slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Gheară in the 27th minute of play forced Fc Lothlorien's goalkeeper Remus Pinches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Lothlorien's Remus Pinches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Gheară in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Cristinel Gheară managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Buciumii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristinel Gheară was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Fc Lothlorien's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Gheară came free, but Remus Pinches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristinel Gheară stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
