With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jalmari Mikkonen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Stasio Bienienda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jalmari Mikkonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diki Doro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Nurettin's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After taking down the ball on Pinner Cluj-Napoca's corner Matt De Ligt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Diki Doro quite easily take care of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jalmari Mikkonen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Gallo got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ali Nurettin. Zhao Sen Yang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jalmari Mikkonen having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but Jalmari Mikkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhao Sen Yang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Zhao Sen Yang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jalmari Mikkonen. That made the score 0-2 in the 51 minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Jalmari Mikkonen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhao Sen Yang. Diki Doro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nurettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute Petre Iftode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jalmari Mikkonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Jenaro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ricardo Jenaro got a free kick in the 84th minute. The Pinner Cluj-Napoca supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s performance.
