After having played for 12 minutes, Darren Blewitt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Soldeu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darren Blewitt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andy Renner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 25th minute, Darren Blewitt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Soldeu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Jerry Lodge successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Soldeu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Joe Herring placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The audience thought a goal was coming when Darren Blewitt got free with Jerry Lodge in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Darren Blewitt came free, but Jerry Lodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joe Herring in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andy Renner saved FC Soldeu from getting behind. FC Soldeu's Osvaldas Jasiūnas pulled a muscle in his leg after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Quentin Nethercot fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valencia C.F.'s protests and gave Quentin Nethercot a yellow card for diving instead. FC Soldeu's Nicky Floyd was substituted for Osvaldas Jasiūnas. In the 43rd minute, Quentin Nethercot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

FC Soldeu's Ollie Revell was substituted for Lucas Webster. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joe Herring to strike the kick off in the second half. Joe Herring could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Andy Renner made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joe Herring in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andy Renner saved FC Soldeu from getting behind. After 95 minutes, Adam Harding mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valencia C.F. and the FC Soldeu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Adam Harding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizinho Maldini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
