After 10 played minutes FC Soldeu got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Webster. The supporters of FC Soldeu booed when Celtic de Sarda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Branson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Celtic de Sarda's goalkeeper Rick Brearley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darren Blewitt. In the 24th match minute, Celtic de Sarda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Newland to maneuver through the defense. Scott Le Saux's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Rick Brearley skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Hulbert in the 27th minute of play forced FC Soldeu's goalkeeper Andy Renner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darren Blewitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rick Brearley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott Le Saux in the 31st minute of play forced Celtic de Sarda's goalkeeper Rick Brearley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC Soldeu's Scott Le Saux in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Celtic de Sarda's goalie prevented a goal. Andy Renner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Stamnes in the 38th minute of the match. After 41 minutes FC Soldeu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chip Newman who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Lars-Erik Hellström drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind FC Soldeu's goalkeeper.

FC Soldeu made a substitution. Ollie Revell replaced Lucas Webster. FC Soldeu's Nicky Floyd was substituted for Scott Le Saux. The wind increased when Lars-Erik Hellström made the kick off in the second half. If Nestor Bâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, FC Soldeu's Nestor Bâru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rick Brearley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Celtic de Sarda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luizinho Maldini was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Soldeu's players had a chance to rest. FC Soldeu's Luizinho Maldini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rick Brearley in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 66th minute Nestor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Brearley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Nestor Bâru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Soldeu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 77th minute, Quentin Hulbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celtic de Sarda's Liam Ryder was substituted for Lars-Erik Hellström. The supporters of FC Soldeu booed when Celtic de Sarda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Hulbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celtic de Sarda's Rick Brearley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Bâru in the 79th minute of play. Nestor Bâru might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rick Brearley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Bâru ran back to his position shaking his head. Nestor Bâru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Brearley having to interfere. Piers Davies hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Andy Renner made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Liam Ryder sent off a good shot on target.
